Understanding surveys 

1. Definition of survey
     Survey (survey) or complete self-administered survey is a primary data collection method by providing questions to individual respondents. So it can be concluded that a survey is a method for gathering information  from groups that represent a population: a large number of respondents.

A survey is a comprehensive examination or research. Surveys conducted in conducting research are usually carried out by distributing questionnaires or interviews, with the aim of knowing: who they are, what they think, feel, or tend to an action.

In the increasingly advanced era of globalization, Indonesian products are increasingly being forgotten and piled up by increasing foreign brands, from attractive models and from materials that may be better than domestic products.

The purpose and benefits of this are to make people aware that Indonesian products are no less good than foreign brands, the prices are also more affordable. people can also prefer local products over foreign products.

    4. Conclusion 

From the results we obtained, we can conclude that everyone certainly has their own views on foreign products and local products. There are some people who look at external products. positively, and some view it negatively. In addition, local products and foreign products actually have positive and negative impacts. It's up to us to use them. The positive or negative effect of using foreign products is that the positive impact of foreign products can blend into our country while the negative impact is that people prefer foreign products over local products.

 The question I made was about foreign products that are superior to local products. Why do they choose outside products? From these questions, there were various kinds of opinions, including, 45 quality, 35 models, 15 ingredients. Lots of Indonesian people buy clothes and other accessories from foreign brands. Local products or Indonesian products are still less competitive than foreign products in their own country. 

     Indonesian companies prefer to work on external models rather than local models, this is our difficulty in favoring these Indonesian local products. Indonesia is still less competitive in terms of quality, model, and price. The Indonesian fashion industry is still lagging behind other countries in terms of an unfavorable industry. Foreign products will provide new innovations to attract customers. Outside products are also packaged specifically and as attractive as possible for sale. This causes the Indonesian economy to shrink even more with these foreign products.

   If people continue to buy foreign products, it will cause a trade balance deficit / continuous price decline because the quantity of goods is greater than the amount of money in circulation. But when people prefer local products, the producers of these products will experience an increase in profits so that they can develop their products to be of higher quality. That way the community can also support and develop local MSMEs and improve the community's economy.
