Application Letter

      An application letter or job application letter is a document sent to company leaders or recruiters to apply for a job. This letter contains specific interests, qualifications and experiences that are considered relevant to fill the available job vacancies.

      This job application letter should highlight your accomplishments and skills to catch the attention of recruiters or HR. When written well, this cover letter will explain to the reader why they should invite you for an interview and judge you as a good fit for the job vacancy available.
 
Job application letter structure

1. Place and Date of Letter Writing
The first structure contained in a job application letter is the place and date of writing the letter. Generally, this place and date is written in the upper right corner.

2. Matters and Attachments
The next part of the job application letter structure is the subject matter and attachments. Items and attachments are usually written on the left. It is filled with the intent or purpose of writing the letter, while attachments are filled with the number of documents to be attached.

3. Name/Title and Address of the Intended Company
The next structure contained in a job application letter is the name of the recipient of the letter and the address of the intended company. Generally, the recipient of the letter is only written with a position.

Meanwhile, the company address included in a written letter should be no more than three lines and should not be abbreviated. Just like writing dates, names and destination addresses do not use periods

4. Greetings are the structure of a job application letter that must exist before writing the contents. Generally, the greeting used in a job application letter is 'With respect,'.

5. Prepare
After the greeting, the next part is the introduction. As the name implies, this section contains an introductory sentence before entering the contents of the application letter.

In the foreword, applicants can write down the source of information from the job vacancy to be applied for. Don't forget to use formal and polite language.

6. Personal Biodata
Personal biodata is part of the contents of a job application letter. This section is written after the introductory sentence.

This part of the structure of the job application letter contains the applicant's personal information such as name, place, date of birth, address, last education, contact, and other information deemed necessary. Make sure to include all of the information correctly.

7. Purpose and Objectives
After writing personal biodata, then the applicant needs to include the intent and purpose of writing the letter. In this section, the author needs to explain his reasons and interest in applying to the company, as well as what position he is aiming for.

8. Work experience and skills
When writing a job application letter, applicants should also include their experience or skills to convince recruiters. Be sure to write down experiences and skills that are relevant to the position you are applying for.

9. Attachment to cover letter
When applying for a job, applicants are usually asked to attach several documents as completeness and material for consideration. The type of document that becomes this attachment should also be included in the job application letter.

10. Closing
In the closing section, applicants can write down their hopes of being accepted at the company as well as a thank you.

11. Signature and Name
The final structure of a job application letter is the signature and name. In this section the author can put a signature and full name.
